IELTS on computer
You will answer the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on a computer at one of our official test centres. The Speaking test will still be face-to-face or via VCS with a trained IELTS Examiner, as this is the most effective way to assess your speaking skills.
With IELTS on computer, you will now have more test dates to choose from - and your results will be available in 1-5 days.

IELTS on paper
If you would like to choose this option, please contact us. They can help you find a centre to take the IELTS test on paper.
With IELTS on paper you will write the answers to the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on paper. The Speaking test will be conducted face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner.
Your results will be available after 13 calendar days from the test date.
If you have any special requirements, you should take the paper-based test.
